106 Central Park South
Originally called the Barbizon Plaza Hotel built in 1930, the structure has an eye-catching roof structure made of tiles and glass that shimmer in day and are simply mesmerizing during the night and replicates the moon. It is complemented with more ornamentations, Art Deco embellishments, and rectilinear protrusions. This is a structure that stands out as a flamboyant New York landmark. In 1988, this elegant structure was acquired by Donald Trump and transformed into a condominium with 340 units. It is designed to wrap around another smaller structure named Trump Parc East and the two complement each other beautifully in a neo-classical style.
