Central Park South
The Central Park South was first built in 1961 as a twenty-one story structure which functions as a cooperative apartment. The curved elements and the interesting roofline of the white brick building is an eye-catcher. Since it was built long ago, there have been a couple of changes made in the structure, including the additional winter garden window, adding beauty to it. It is located at the top-most floor with white balconies complementing the structure. The two-story base of the building is made of gray granite, embellished with canopy and grand step down entrance. The Central Park South is a perfect combination of classic and modern rolled into one. Overlooking some of Central Parks most beautiful features, the pond with it’s bridge and Wollman Skating rink are displayed, making this building one of the most sought after.
